Responsibilities
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture by ensuring strict adherence to all company safety policies and regulatory requirements
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, and actively participate in incident and near-miss investigations to determine root causes and corrective actions
Support environmental compliance by adhering to waste management, recycling responsibilities, and reporting requirements
Analyze production data and apply statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments (DOE), and other statistical tools to identify and eliminate process variation
Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through startup and stabilization, ensuring smooth transitions and operational efficiency
Partner with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to troubleshoot issues, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and improve process capability
Lead and support Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives to drive cost reduction, yield improvement, and throughput gains
Introduce and integrate new technologies, raw materials, and methods to enhance efficiency and product performance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
Minimum of 3+ years in manufacturing or process engineering (co-op/internship experience considered)
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and project management skills to effectively address challenges and drive improvements
Preferred
Experience in roofing or building materials manufacturing
CAD/AutoCAD or process engineering software experience
