Senior LevelBuchart Horn, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer to support and grow their Water Resources Strategic Business Unit. This role involves leading the technical development and delivery of complex water and wastewater projects while mentoring developing engineers and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
Plan, design, and develop water and wastewater systems including treatment facilities, pumping stations, and collection and distribution systems
Perform advanced engineering analyses, system studies, and independent calculations
Lead project design from early planning and schematic phases through construction documentation
Support permitting efforts and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations
Review shop drawings, develop specifications, construction cost estimates, and sequencing
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to EITs, interns, and designers
Collaborate with project managers to support proposals, schedules, budgets, and client coordination
When assigned as a Project Manager, you may also serve as the primary client liaison, oversee project execution, manage budgets and schedules, and support the overall profitability and success of assigned projects
Qualification
Required
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Strong technical background in water and wastewater engineering and infrastructure design
Experience serving as a technical lead and/or project manager on complex projects
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit or BIM tools, and Civil 3D
Familiarity with hydraulic and hydraulic modeling tools such as WaterGEMS and SewerGEMS
Understanding of construction practices, cost estimating, and specification development
