Grant Accountant
Beacon Hill is a mission-driven nonprofit organization in Downtown Los Angeles seeking a Nonprofit Grant Accountant on a temp-to-hire basis. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, and nonprofit financial reporting.

Responsibilities
Maintain general ledger and support monthly close
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
Manage fund accounting, including restricted and unrestricted funds
Assist with grant accounting and tracking expenditures
Prepare financial statements and internal reports
Handle AP/AR, including vendor payments and donor receivables
Support annual audit and work with external auditors
Ensure compliance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards
Collaborate with internal teams on budgeting and financial tracking
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of nonprofit accounting experience
Strong Blackbaud experience (Financial Edge or Financial Edge NXT)
Solid understanding of fund and grant accounting
Experience with month-end close and reconciliations
Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
