Remote Broadcast Engineer - Gatorvision
The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for a Remote Broadcast Engineer to implement and maintain world-class video production, streaming, and broadcast systems. The role involves ensuring high-quality video delivery across all platforms and providing critical technical support, training, and oversight during productions.

Responsibilities
Implement and maintain world-class video production, streaming, and broadcast systems
Ensure high quality video delivery across all platforms
Provide critical technical support, training, and oversight during productions
Work with broadcast professionals and UF students to ensure a safe environment
Collaborate with the UF College of Journalism’s Division of Media Properties and Technology Advancement Group
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Media Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Two years of experience in video engineering, live production, or broadcast operations
Knowledgeable of video standards (SDI, HDMI, IP Video, SMPTE, HDR, 4k/UHD)
Knowledgeable of audio signal flow and synchronization
Preferred
Five years of remote sports production experience
Experience with network infrastructure (VLANs, multicast, QoS, etc)
Experience with computer systems (including hardware, troubleshooting and upgrades)
Dante Level 2 or 3 Certification
Knowledgeable of fiber-based video and audio signal flow
Knowledgeable of NCAA and SEC rules and regulations
