JD-XVII is seeking a Contract Litigation Attorney for select civil matters where compensation is tied to winning outcomes. This role focuses on results and strategic advocacy, replacing hourly billing with aligned incentives.

Responsibilities
The attorney will evaluate claims, jurisdiction, and litigation strategy; draft pleadings, motions, and briefs; manage discovery, hearings, negotiations, and trial preparation; and advise on leverage, remedies, and settlement posture throughout the lifecycle of each case
Qualification
Required
Candidates must hold a JD from an accredited law school
Maintain an active license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Have a minimum of three years of litigation experience
Strong legal writing
Sound judgment
Ability to work independently
Preferred
Experience in civil litigation
Disputes involving institutional or corporate defendants
Administrative appeals
Civil rights or disability law
