Clinical Engineering Tech I
Solvita is seeking a Clinical Engineering Technician I to provide entry-level technical support for clinical and manufacturing equipment. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure safe and compliant operation of various systems.

Responsibilities
Provides entry-level technical support for clinical, tissue processing, manufacturing, and cleanroom equipment
Performs preventive maintenance, inspections, basic troubleshooting, and repairs
Ensures safe, reliable, and compliant operation in accordance with regulatory, manufacturer, and organizational standards
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
One to three years of experience in clinical engineering, biomedical equipment support, laboratory equipment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related technical role, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and hands-on experience
Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) required
Proficient computer skills for documentation, communication, and work order management
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull tools, equipment, and materials up to and occasionally exceeding 50 lbs
Ability to work in clinical, laboratory, cleanroom, and equipment support areas
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow cleanroom and infection control requirements
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
Must possess a valid driver's license and meet driver insurability standards as established by the organization's insurer
Participate in on-call coverage as required; Technician I participation is limited and contingent upon training completion, demonstrated competency, and staffing needs
