Responsibilities

Partner with multiple stakeholders across Technical Infrastructure, Engineers, Negotiators, Controllership and Google product/service teams to deliver on efficient scaling of Google’s network
Develop financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives
Lead monthly finance reviews of financial trends to executive audiences
Drive strategic projects to help business with decision making and improving efficiency of networking infrastructure
Influence the technology and provide financial guidance to business decision makers to ensure sound financial decisions, including ad-hoc business cases and capturing return on investment

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree

Preferred

Knowledge of the networking, telecom, cloud, or fiber industry
Ability to solve complex problems and navigate ambiguity in a dynamic environment
Ability to work with a high degree of proactivity and ownership mindset
Ability to grasp complex problems and convert them into actionable financial analyses
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience conveying complex financial concepts to audiences
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams around financial recommendations
