Responsibilities

Install and maintain structured cabling, including Cat5e/Cat6 and fiber‑optic connections
Perform hardware installation tasks such as racking servers, network switches, and power equipment
Conduct troubleshooting for connectivity issues, hardware failures, and environmental alerts
Support the deployment of new infrastructure by preparing racks, mounting equipment, and performing cable routing

Qualification

Structured cablingData center operationsHardware installationLinux command lineWindows command lineCable testersLabelersFiber inspection tools

Required

High school diploma or equivalent; technical trade school or certifications are a plus
1–3 years of experience in data center operations, structured cabling, or related IT support roles
Familiarity with common data center hardware (servers, switches, PDUs, cabling components)

Preferred

Experience using cable testers, labelers, and fiber inspection tools
Knowledge of basic Linux or Windows command line operations
