Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive, loan-level desktop reviews of cases, and to prioritize that work appropriately
Assisting attorneys in reviewing and preparing litigation pleadings and related documents
Assist in preparing attorneys and witnesses for hearings, trials, depositions and other complex litigation
Communicate with the courts, clients and opposing counsel
Manage a portfolio of active files and complete daily tasks to ensure legal action exceeds clients’ timelines and expectations
Ensure all internal systems are updated, to include findings, documentation, and recommendations
Exercise a high-degree of confidentiality and professionalism
Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal bankruptcy, foreclosure and collections requirements (as applicable)

Required

Energetic, organized, detail oriented and disciplined with the willingness to work hard
Eager to serve clients' needs, both externally and internally

Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills; Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and through written electronic correspondence
Demonstrated ability to analyze corrective action opportunities and present recommendations
Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Ability to manage workflow and work under tight deadlines with competing and shifting priorities
Experience operating in Loansphere/ BKFS, TEMPO
Knowledge of Illinois Mortgage Foreclosure Law

Preferred

Background in creditors rights, mortgage foreclosure preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control strongly preferred
