Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines to support consistent and reliable application releases
Monitor and optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
Administer and maintain Linux-based systems, ensuring high availability and system reliability
Manage system configuration, updates, and patching using automation and configuration management tools
Support containerized workloads and assist with orchestration in Kubernetes-based environments (AKS preferred)
Implement and maintain security best practices across cloud infrastructure and operating systems
Participate in incident response and troubleshooting for infrastructure and deployment-related issues
Collaborate with engineering, QA, and operations teams to improve deployment workflows and system reliability
Document infrastructure designs, processes, and operational standards
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or systems engineering roles
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including compute, networking, storage, and security services
Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or similar
Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar platforms
Strong background in Linux system administration (e.g., Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS)
Experience with scripting and automation using Bash, PowerShell, or Python
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, particularly in cloud-hosted environments
Understanding of monitoring, logging, and performance optimization for cloud systems
Knowledge of security and compliance practices in cloud environments
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering teams
Preferred
Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer)
Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or other managed Kubernetes platforms
Exposure to serverless or event-driven cloud services
Experience supporting networking and secure connectivity in cloud environments
Familiarity with databases in cloud environments (SQL or NoSQL)
