Program Manager for Tiger Success Program

The Program Manager for the Tiger Success Program is responsible for leading and coordinating an academic support program aimed at helping academically at-risk students transition successfully into college-level work while increasing retention and ensuring students meet progression requirements.

Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and day-to-day management of the Tiger Success Program, ensuring alignment with institutional student success goals
Develop program structures and expectations that support academic readiness and personal development for incoming students
Provide oversight and direction to program-affiliated staff and faculty
Maintain budgets, resources, and materials needed for program delivery
Serve as a primary academic advisor for a subset of program students and teach two sections of an academic skills course
Provide students with individualized advising, coaching, and resource referrals for personal well-being
Meet regularly with students to review goals, assist in policy navigation, and discuss academic planning
Develop and deliver workshops, resources, and events to build academic skills, confidence, and belonging among program students
Partner and build strong relationships with key campus groups to ensure coordinated support for the cohort
Work with faculty teaching cohort students to monitor student progress and collaborate on interventions
Serve on committees and working groups related to onboarding, student success, and transition programs
Monitor student performance across the entire Tiger Success Program cohort and facilitate proactive intervention when concerns arise
Monitor program participation, completion of milestones, and impact of academic interventions
Use evidence-based practices and program evaluation findings to refine program design and improve student outcomes
Assumes other responsibilities as designated by the Assistant Vice President of Academic Success

Qualification
Required
Master's degree
Two years experience of specific academic support or teaching
Knowledge of student development theory, advising practices, student transitions, or related strategies
Ability to design, implement, and manage complex programs
Skilled in providing individualized holistic advising and academic coaching
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting student data
Strong communication skills
Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
Understanding emerging best practices in student readiness, retention, and success
Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential records and information
Preferred

Ability to think strategically and multidimensionally
Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
Strong writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills
