Responsibilities

Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily standups
Independently deliver user stories and technical tasks with a strong focus on quality and timeliness
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the Optimizely platform
Write and maintain unit and integration tests to support reliable and secure deployments
Diagnose and resolve performance issues, technical defects, and operational challenges
Create and maintain clear technical documentation to support long-term maintainability
Communicate task progress effectively, escalating risks, delays, or blockers as needed
Triage defects and implement timely, high-quality fixes to maintain application stability
Conduct detailed code walkthroughs with lead developers or architects to demonstrate alignment with requirements and best practices
Present completed features and enhancements to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with OneMember program objectives
Mentor junior developers and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment

Required

Expert-level experience with Optimizely CMS, including customization and platform capabilities
Strong proficiency in Microsoft .NET development
Solid understanding of JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)
Experience with DevOps tools, processes, and CI/CD pipelines
Strong working knowledge of Git and standard development workflows
In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
Proven experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research and implement optimal solutions
Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences
Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
10+ years of professional experience in software development, implementation, and maintenance of web-based applications, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
