EPITEC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support turbocharger application engineering across various industries. This hands-on role involves researching, designing, and analyzing mechanical products, systems, and components to improve turbocharger technologies.

Responsibilities

Research, design, develop, and test mechanical devices including tools, engines, and machines
Analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to assess feasibility, timing, and cost
Investigate equipment failures, troubleshoot operational issues, and recommend corrective actions
Support warranty reviews and root cause investigations
Assist in structural design development alongside drafting teams
Support Gas NPI programs to help bring new products to market
Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, manufacturers, and external partners

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering / Engineering Technology
4+ years of relevant engineering experience
Hands-on mechanical experience (engines, cars, farm equipment — personal or professional)
Strong verbal and written communication
Project management capability (supplier communication, timeline management, risk mitigation)
CAD proficiency
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical data
NPI experience
GD&T experience
APQP familiarity

Preferred

Experience with warranty analysis highly preferred
