Responsibilities
Configure and maintain Jira instances, including workflows, custom fields, screens, permission schemes, and user roles
Administer Jira Advanced Roadmaps for capacity and resource planning
Design and implement complex automation using Groovy (ScriptRunner), Java, Python, and related tools
Eliminate manual, repetitive processes through intelligent automation
Build and maintain executive-level dashboards, filters, and reports
Provide visibility into project health, capacity, utilization, and forecasting
Leverage EasyBI and other analytics/visualization tools
Design and maintain automated data pipelines across data lake and data warehouse architectures
Work within the Snowflake ecosystem to support analytics and reporting
Act as SME for Agile (Scrum, Kanban, scaled agile)
Ensure Atlassian tools enforce agile best practices across teams
Partner with leadership to identify automation opportunities and demonstrate ROI
Provide training and documentation for technical and non-technical users
Continuously audit workflows to improve efficiency and reduce errors
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience
Proven experience as a Jira / Atlassian Administrator in a corporate environment
Strong hands-on experience with Java, Python, and automation scripting
Deep knowledge of Jira configuration and enterprise implementations
Experience with Snowflake, data lakes, and dashboarding
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to train diverse audiences
Preferred
Experience leveraging AI and automation tools to improve operational efficiency
Experience with scaled agile frameworks
Atlassian Certifications (ACP-JA, ACP-JSM)
