Multi-platform Communications Manager
Google is seeking a Multi-platform Communications Manager to join their Global Communications & Public Affairs team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that engage journalists and thought leaders while promoting Google products across various media platforms.

Responsibilities
Drive Google’s narrative across the visual news ecosystem by leading engaged pitching to news outlets as well as managing reactive strategies
Build and maintain a network of relationships with national reporters, producers, bookers, digital news outlets, and new media creators
Own the development of the multi-platform communications strategy for product launches and campaigns by working with Public Relations (PR) colleagues to secure coverage
Appear on-air, coordinate interviews, prepare briefing materials for media engagements, and coach executives to represent Google
Manage agencies for programs by defining objectives, developing content, and monitoring budgets
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
10 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or communications
Preferred
Experience in creative writing and public engagement
Experience using the latest AI tools
Ability to think and develop communications strategies that drive results
Excellent storytelling and media strategy skills, with the ability to tailor narratives and platform choices for varying audiences and objectives
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet timelines
Excellent communication skills
