Manufacturing Engineer
Manpower San Diego is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support, improve, and maintain released products throughout their lifecycle. This role involves bridging engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure products remain reliable and cost-effective.

Responsibilities
Own and execute engineering changes (ECR/ECO) for products and manufacturing processes
Lead root-cause analysis investigations and implement product, process, and design improvements
Review and interpret technical requirements, specifications, and industry standards
Create, update, and maintain work instructions, assembly documentation, drawings, and bills of material (BOMs)
Manage configuration control of parts and assemblies within the ERP system
Provide timely technical support to manufacturing and customer-facing teams
Modify commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) 3D models and drawings to support customer-specific configurations
Support Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement activities
Assist with the transfer of new products from engineering into manufacturing
Provide technical expertise to supply chain as needed
Provide technical support to Customer Service and Sales teams as needed
Qualification
Required
Associate degree with 2 years of experience or bachelor's degree in drafting, design, engineering, or a related technical field
2 years of experience utilizing SolidWorks
Strong understanding of drafting standards and manufacturing processes
Familiarity with product data management (PDM), engineering change orders (ECOs), and product development processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple functional teams
Preferred
Experience with ERP systems preferred
