Responsibilities
Demonstrated Skill In Most Of The Following Areas
Preferred candidates will possess both welding and fitting skills, be able to operate an acetylene torch, be able to read and comprehend measurements, and have worked in an industrial setting
TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience
The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer
Tank service and repair
Trailer suspension installation and repair
Experience with air brake systems and repairs
Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)
Qualification
Required
Certified Tank Welder
3+ years of tank and trailer welding experience
Must have High School Diploma or GED
Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas: welding and fitting skills, ability to operate an acetylene torch, ability to read and comprehend measurements, experience working in an industrial setting

Ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer

Physical ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Physical ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance
Ability to fit through a 16" tank trailer manhole
Ability to work in confined spaces
Ability to climb a ladder and be comfortable working with heights
