Responsibilities
Introduce and explain the Level of Care Assessment (LOCA) process to clients
Collect demographic and psychosocial history relevant to the assessment process
Explain and obtain signatures for Releases of Information (ROI) and other admission documentation
Coordinate with a Licensed Counselor for completion of the clinical portion of the assessment
Gather required information and complete precertifications for managed care clients, as applicable
Determine appropriate level of care and placement based on assessment findings
Collaborate with therapists, admissions, and marketing teams to support scheduling and care coordination
Participate in case consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Master's degree from an accredited institution in a recognized clinical discipline, including completion of a clinical practicum
Prior clinical experience in mental health treatment required
Strong clinical knowledge of mental health, substance use, and/or eating disorder treatment
Working knowledge of HIPAA, licensing standards, and CARF regulations
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving skills, and professionalism
Ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced or crisis situations
Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach
