They are seeking a Device Research & Early Development Engineer Co-Op to develop test fixtures and methods for medical devices, execute tests, and contribute to data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities
Develop test fixtures to be used for characterize of medical devices
Develop test methods and protocols to be used for evaluation of medical devices
Setup and execute experimental tests in a laboratory setting to provide data indicating the performance of medical devices
Contribute to the development of data analysis tools to improve the efficiency of evaluating experimental results
Prepare of formal test reports to provide a record of testing activities and results
Prepare and present findings to cross functional program teams
Contribute to deliverables of support fielded products and required documentation for products under development
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Bioengineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Knowledge and application of engineering and scientific concepts
Ability to apply technology, engineering concepts and methodologies to develop solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independent as well as in a team-oriented environment
Preferred
Experience with data analysis in Python
Experience with development of automated test tools
Previous lab or medical device experience
Experience or exposure to hardware design or rapid prototyping
