Responsibilities
Create, test, improve, and update CNC programs and related documentation for 5-axis and multi-axis machining of aerospace parts, including wing structures, tools, and inspection components
Program and support CNC machining centers used to manufacture metallic or composite aerospace and other complex structures
Partner with engineering to define machining approaches, tooling needs, fixtures, and technical requirements that support efficient manufacturing
Develop standards, processes, and procedures for new machines, new products, and advanced machining or inspection methods
Identify opportunities to improve process quality, reduce cycle time, and streamline production
Design and specify complex fixtures and tooling used for manufacturing or inspection
Work directly with customers or engineering teams to ensure part designs support efficient machining
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience programming CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
Experience programming CNC machines for large-scale manufacturing
Proficiency with CATIA or comparable 3D CAD design software
Hands-on experience programming 5-axis CNC machines
Preferred
Proficient in utilizing VERICUT
Background in aerospace manufacturing environments
