Responsibilities
Deliver excellent customer service to patients through phone, email, and in-person interactions
Answer patient questions regarding billing, insurance coverage, payment options, and balances
Process patient payments and set up payment plans as needed
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing or insurance issues in a timely manner
Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and update account details in the system
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company policies to safeguard patient information
Support the company’s mission of providing efficient and compassionate service to patients
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
1–2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or medical billing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage sensitive conversations
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
Proficiency in computer systems; experience with electronic health records (EHR) or billing software is a plus
Must pass a background check and drug screen
Preferred
Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred
Knowledge of insurance processes, billing practices, and patient payment procedures strongly preferred
