IRP Medical is a company that specializes in providing advanced sealing and contact solutions for various industries. They are seeking a Packaging Technician who will prioritize daily orders for shipment and ensure proper packaging and labeling of parts while meeting production goals.

Responsibilities
Ensure proper packaging and labeling of parts per our QC-251Specification
Assist with daily shipment plans
Accurately read and follow work order and router instructions
Proper staging, storage, and identification of parts in the packaging area
Daily communication with planning to ensure the workflow meets the customer demand
Assist with meeting all the daily production goals
Utilize inspection tools and equipment (visual inspection, calipers, pin gauges, weight scale, manual counter, and auto bagger) to inspect, count, and handle parts
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification

Efficient at multi-tasking
Able to communicate any issues to the department manager
Ensure proper packaging and labeling of parts per our QC-251 Specification
Assist with daily shipment plans
Accurately read and follow work order and router instructions
Proper staging, storage, and identification of parts in the packaging area
Daily communication with planning to ensure the workflow meets the customer demand
Assist with meeting all the daily production goals
Utilize inspection tools and equipment (visual inspection, calipers, pin gauges, weight scale, manual counter, and auto bagger) to inspect, count, and handle parts
Perform other related duties as assigned
Ability to work effectively with others and be a team player
Ability to work overtime as required
Employee is occasionally required to stand
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk throughout the facility
This position is mainly sedentary; Therefore, required to sit
Occasionally will need to bend, stoop and squat
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Required to reach with hands and arms to handle documents and products
Must be able to enter data into a computer by use of a keyboard and mouse and be able to sit for long periods at his/her desk as well as occasionally visit employees throughout the building to gather data and clarify information
Preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent education
6 months of inspection and/or shipping experience
Proficient in the use of Agile for viewing drawings and routers
Computer skills for viewing orders, tracking and locating parts within the E1 system
Capable of communicating clearly and professionally with all employees
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Maintain the work area, keeping it clean and organized at all times
