Responsibilities
Document Review: Independently review and analyze sensitive legal documentation, including Titles, Deeds, Wills, Trust Documents, and Powers of Attorney
Title Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of Title Insurance Commitments and Policies, as well as various conveyancing documents
Analysis: Produce clear, comprehensive written analysis and summaries of reviewed title documents
Support: Utilize MS Word, Outlook, and Excel efficiently for correspondence and document preparation
Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to all company policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Strong background in Title, Real Estate Law, or Mortgage Industries
Formal Paralegal certification is not required
A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Title Company, Real Estate Law Firm, or a Foreclosure/Legal Department within the Mortgage Industry
Strong analytical and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Demonstrate a strong understanding of Title Insurance Commitments and Policies, as well as various conveyancing documents
Independently review and analyze sensitive legal documentation, including Titles, Deeds, Wills, Trust Documents, and Powers of Attorney
Produce clear, comprehensive written analysis and summaries of reviewed title documents

Maintain strict adherence to all company policies and procedures
Preferred
Familiarity with the New York Consolidation, Extension and Modification (CEMA) process is a plus, but not required
