Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team
Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery to meet quality, cost, and timeline objectives
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure project success
Develop and implement engineering processes, standards, and best practices
Manage engineering resources, staffing, and departmental budgets
Drive continuous improvement across mechanical and control systems
Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders
Perform advanced mechanical design work for vacuum, roll‑to‑roll, and high‑precision systems
Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings
Conduct FEA, tolerance analysis, system modeling, and technical studies
Troubleshoot complex mechanical and system‑level issues; provide hands‑on problem‑solving support
Support integration of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
Work closely with internal manufacturing teams and external suppliers
Contribute directly to system/subsystem engineering and design at the highest technical level
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Control Systems Engineering (or related field) minimum
Demonstrated track record of effective engineering leadership and successful team management
Extensive hands‑on mechanical engineering experience — design, development, implementation
Strong problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
Knowledge of engineering standards, regulations, and best practices
Experience with project management methodologies
Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
Mechanical design: 5 years (Required)
Ability to Commute: Loveland, CO 80538 (Required)

Preferred
Hands‑on implementation experience in engineered systems
Vacuum and/or roll-to-roll equipment experience
Electrical, controls, and HMI experience; Allen‑Bradley & Siemens PLC familiarity
Background or interest in physics
