Responsibilities
Develop and optimize CNC milling processes for new and existing components
Create CNC programs (NC code) and manufacturing instructions from engineering drawings
Define operation sequences, tooling, fixturing, gauging, and machine requirements
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, inspection, and workholding issues on the shop floor
Review engineering drawings for manufacturability and recommend improvements
Support machine setup, prove-outs, and process validation
Create operation sheets and documentation for precision components and sub-assemblies
Estimate setup time, run time, and tooling requirements
Collaborate cross-functionally to improve manufacturing processes
Mentor junior team members and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field OR High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of relevant manufacturing experience
Minimum 6+ years of CNC machining/manufacturing engineering experience
Strong experience in CNC milling machining
Experience with multi-axis vertical or horizontal machining centers
Hands-on experience with machine setup and operation
Preferred
Aerospace manufacturing experience
