Accounting Assistant
HELM is a staffing agency dedicated to helping people achieve freedom. They are seeking an Accounting Assistant to support day-to-day accounting operations, focusing on invoicing, accounts receivable, and month-end close activities while working extensively in Excel and an accounting platform.

Responsibilities
Manage invoicing and maintain accurate financial worksheets
Handle accounts receivable and debtor tracking, including follow-ups as needed
Input and manage bills accurately and on time
Support month-end close activities and related reconciliations
Submit and track orders within internal systems
Maintain organized, up-to-date financial records
Work extensively in Excel to track, analyze, and reconcile financial data
Qualification
Required
Strong written and spoken English communication skills
Experience using an accounting platform (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, Sage, NetSuite, or similar)
Strong working knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, functions, and tables
Experience with invoicing and accounts receivable processes
High attention to detail and comfort handling repetitive financial tasks
Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities
Willingness to learn and grow into additional responsibilities over time
Preferred
Superb written and spoken English (we assess skills unassisted by AI Tools, Grammarly and ChatGPT). We look for C2 proficiency, or native-level English
