In this role, you will provide expertise in quality, patient safety, and process improvement, while collaborating with clinical and operational teams to enhance patient care programs.

Responsibilities

Consult with internal client groups to guide quality and patient safety initiatives
Develop, implement, and enhance programs that uphold the highest standards of patient care
Research, collect, and analyze internal and external data to inform decisions
Act as a subject matter expert in quality, patient safety, significant event management, and operational priorities aligned with NYP’s strategic goals

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience in a healthcare-related role, ideally within Quality or Performance Improvement

Preferred

Master's degree in a related field
Clinical licensure (RN, PA, NP, MD, Nurse Midwife, RD, PT/OT, PharmD)
Obstetrics clinical experience
PMP or Six Sigma/Lean certification
Minimum of 3 years of project management experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Strong data analytics capabilities
