Government Administration

Responsibilities

Developing, maintaining, and distributing marketing materials
Maintaining the program website
Leading and engaging in social media activities
Meeting with private sector employers and staff to educate them on the program and its features

Required

Two (2) years of experience in communications or marketing, which may include social media management, digital marketing, public relations, and/or website content management
A bachelor's degree in communications, graphic design, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field may substitute for one (1) year of experience
Skill in managing digital and website content, including knowledge of accessibility standards and familiarity with tools and technologies such as HTML, GovDelivery, Tridion, Google Analytics, or similar systems
Skill in using graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Writing, editing, and presentation skills to communicate program information clearly and in an accessible manner for diverse audiences
Professionalism and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively effectively with colleagues and engage with external stakeholders
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and complete projects as directed
Ability to develop and implement social media content and campaigns, with awareness of current trends across platforms

Preferred

Degree in communications, graphic design, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field
Experience developing social media campaigns
Experience creating web, online, and print content that meets or exceeds ADA accessibility standards
Experience using site-improve or similar website accessibility and analytics tools
Knowledge or experience in the retirement or financial services industry, including familiarity with industry standards and best practices
Knowledge of state policies, procedures, and practices related to information sharing and data privacy
