Responsibilities

Ensuring continued suitability of IT services to evolving business demands
Ensuring timely and effective remediation of issues
Overseeing incident management activities and serving as the point of escalation
Providing expert analysis of complex technological challenges
Ensuring the integrity of IT infrastructure in the face of targeted and sophisticated cyberattacks
Communicating and reinforcing business objectives within the team
Distilling the essence of complicated technical challenges into forms suitable for effective decision making by business-focused senior leadership
Promoting quality, continuous improvement and accountability
Representing the IT team to the wider workforce
Developing project proposals in support of business objectives
Collaborating with peers around the organization to achieve coordinated and smooth delivery of business objectives
Engaging with vendors and leading contract negotiation
Communicating the vision for the team
Recruitment & succession planning
Performance management
Employee care and support
Employee development
Oversight of leave, expenses, travel and training

Required

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
More than 10 years of directly relevant professional experience
Prior experience leading a team through organizational change
Prior success having developed and executed a multi-year technology strategy
You must be eligible to obtain a security clearance. Holding a current security clearance is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A pattern of anticipating customer needs, proactively resolving friction points, and shaping solutions that advance customer goals
A strong risk management and governance orientation
Confidence in your judgment and decisiveness during periods of change
Excellent communication skills
Resilience in high pressure situations
The ability to inspire the people around you
Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities

Preferred

Prior experience designing constrained IT solutions in the US Defense Industrial Base or US Intelligence Community is a plus
