Responsibilities
Execute vibration and environmental testing programs for a variety of applications, including automotive, aerospace, and defence-related components
Support the development and improvement of laboratory best practices, including equipment care and preventive maintenance
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior technicians
Accurately document test setups, procedures, results, and observations through detailed data sheets and formal reports
Perform testing in accordance with established industry standards as well as custom client-specific procedures
Maintain strong organization of test documentation and project deliverables
Operate effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment and adapt to changing priorities
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on experience in a vibration or dynamics testing laboratory
Strong understanding of dynamics and vibration testing principles
Experience operating and maintaining electrodynamic shaker systems and controllers
Familiarity with relevant industry test standards (e.g., environmental and vibration qualification standards)
Experience working with temperature and humidity chambers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with common office software tools for documentation and reporting
Ability to multitask, work independently, and contribute within a growing technical team
Preferred
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
