Responsibilities
Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, and developing personal growth opportunities
Manages multiple cross-functional projects related to applications
Oversees application team operations to deliver IT services effectively
Assesses user needs to provide proactive support and service
Manages the release process for Epic applications
Negotiates resolution of conflicting requirements among stakeholders
Develops performance metrics to enable continuous improvement activities
Leads a team of analysts in the design, implementation, support, and testing of multiple applications
Provides guidance and acts as a resource for analysts, project managers, and consultants
Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with stakeholders
Ensures timely delivery of services by collaborating with subject matter experts across departments
Facilitates operations by developing schedules, assigning and monitoring work, gathering resources, and implementing productivity standards
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
Strategic, creative, and process-oriented thinking
Advanced ability to manage multiple tasks and projects within deadline constraints
Advanced knowledge of HL7 and API concepts and operating within an integrated healthcare applications environment
Bachelor's
BS or BA in a Healthcare or Business-related field
An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Yearly participation in ongoing education either formal or through conferences, active professional organization participation, or journal presentations
5+ years leadership experience
5+ years of clinical, revenue cycle, business or technical background
5+ years' experience with emr system application implementation
Experience engaging & working with hospital or organizations leadership
Microsoft Office suite experience; proficient in PowerPoint presentations
