Responsibilities
Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement
Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts
Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives
Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288
Assist in developing a new or innovative approach to a technical or engineering issue
Assist in conducting an evaluation to determine its suitability for project implementation
Supervise or coordinate the work of other contractor engineers or technicians on a project

Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/ Poly
Level 1: High School diploma with twelve (12) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity OR Bachelor's degree with seven (7) years of experience. Education must be in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
Level 2: High School diploma with nineteen (19) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity OR Bachelor's degree with fourteen (14) years of experience. Education must be in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
Three (3) years' experience with VMware architecture, Installation and configuration
Three (3) years' experience with facilitating failover with VMotion
Three (3) years' experience with implementing rollback capability
Three (3) years' experience with VMware template library
Three (3) years' experience with Central Remote Management capability
Three (3) years' experience with configuration Management
Three (3) years' experience with leveraging VMware's monitoring capability (VROPS…..etc.)
Level 3: High School diploma with twenty-five (25) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity OR Bachelor's degree with twenty (20) years of experience. Education must be in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
Five (5) years' experience with VMware architecture, Installation and configuration
Five (5) years' experience with facilitating failover with VMotion
Five (5) years' experience with implementing rollback capability
Five (5) years' experience with VMware template library

Five (5) years' experience with configuration Management

Qualified engineering fields include: Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management
Related disciplines include: Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics
Preferred
Testing and Linux Systems administration experience is a plus
