Responsibilities
Lead and manage all accounting operations for WCP Solutions, including the month-end close process
Prepare and analyze financial information; prepare journal entries and perform general ledger reconciliations
Oversee the Accounts Payable department, providing coaching, training, and leadership to ensure accuracy and protection of company assets
Prepare recurring sales tax and property tax reports
Monitor legislation, regulatory updates, and accounting standards that influence financial operations
Maintain and administer financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness
Support preparation of documentation for annual tax returns
Serve as primary contact for auditors during annual reviews and audits
Build and maintain strong relationships with key financial vendors and partners
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered)
Minimum two years of management or supervisory experience required
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and current versions of Microsoft Office
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to develop, coach, and motivate teams
Demonstrated professionalism and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to work effectively across all levels of the organization
Customer service–oriented mindset; able to operate under strict deadlines
Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Adaptable, approachable, and flexible in a dynamic environment
Ability to use 10‑key by touch
Preferred
Minimum three years of experience in Accounting or a related field preferred
