Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of business application analysts and specialists, ensuring reliable day to day operations and high performance of enterprise applications
Oversee the configuration, implementation, enhancement, and support of business critical applications, particularly those supporting financial functions such as Accounting, Risk Management, Treasury, and P&C operations
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and third party vendors to ensure applications align with organizational goals and user needs
Manage incident response, troubleshooting, upgrades, migrations, and system integrations with minimal disruption to business operations
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on application performance, security, compliance, and process optimization
Ensure comprehensive documentation of business processes, system configurations, and application changes
Collaborate with IT leadership on application strategy, cloud migration, and optimization across on premises, hybrid, and cloud environments
Maintain vendor relationships and manage application related contracts
Ensure applications comply with regulatory and security standards, including SOX and PCI DSS, and support audits, risk assessments, and disaster recovery planning
Mentor and develop team members, supporting skill growth and career progression
Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in application management and cloud platforms
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
At least five years of experience in implementing, configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting enterprise business applications
Proven experience supervising or leading application development or support teams
Strong understanding of enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, and other business systems
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements including SOX and PCI DSS
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred
Experience in the financial services industry, including strong P&C domain knowledge
Hands on experience with DevOps tools and practices
Familiarity with application integration, data management, and workflow automation
Experience supporting applications across on premises, hybrid, and cloud environments
Cloud platform certifications such as AWS or Azure
Project management or Agile certifications such as PMP or Agile
