Qualification
Required
Associate Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications or Computer Science, or two years of combined education and experience (civilian or military technical school covering digital, analog, and communication theory)
One or more years working with electronics, computers, or telecommunications
Class “D” Florida State Drivers license
FCC General Radio/Telephone Operator License
Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, functional diagrams, and assigned work/construction packages
Ability to navigate PC (personal computer) programs and software required. Essentially be PC literate
Ability to learn state of the art test equipment such as OTDR, FTDR, TIMS, communication service monitors, oscilloscopes, network and data analyzers, specialty test instruments, etc
Ability to work in a team environment (strong interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and ability to work with others)
No physical limitations. Ability to carry required test equipment and tools
