Responsibilities
You will oversee the planning and execution of the portfolio's budget
You will coordinate the portfolios schedule ensuring it is executable with respective functional areas based on allocated resources
You are responsible for leading APMs and Acquisition Manager in overall acquisition strategy and contract planning
You will communicate programmatic messaging to a wide range of senior officials while working across program office disciplines to ensure a consistent program messaged is delivered
You will guide development and strategic planning for product improvement plans and technical insertion in the areas of improved MCM and system autonomy efforts

This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes
This position is covered under Public Law 114-264, the Program Management Improvement Accountability Act (PMIAA)
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics
Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-03 (or GS-13 equivalency), in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying exceptional executive managerial skills in program/project management for assigned cost, schedule, performance reporting and contract activities, logistics, budget and personnel management in any and or all phases of the acquisition life cycle for a ship, submarine, carrier, ship system or weapon system
