Responsibilities
Able to perform all requirements of QC/QA Technicians
Work closely with all departments to achieve quality standards, identify food safety and process improvements, and communicate recommendations
Support in the decision-making process of acceptance and rejection of the product
Responsible for verification of the lines by ensuring they are food safety compliant before start-up, and asking for corrections as needed
Verification of packing and labeling requirements, GMP, and HACCP compliance, etc
Responsible for line clearance and documentation in accordance with established regulations
Analytical verifications of finished goods and raw materials based on established frequencies
Organoleptic evaluation of the products in relation to shelf-life verifications
Perform daily GMP’s and operational inspections of the processing areas
Perform calibration of the equipment
Carry out any assigned special projects, as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated experience working in a dynamic environment
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to read and write
Able to use tablets/iPads and computers
Excellent communication skills
Proven attention to detail, responsible, self-motivated, and independent
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexible schedule based on production needs, including weekends
Preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish speaker desired
