Escrow Assistant

Responsibilities
Typically found in a branch/office setting where the assistant is providing support to Escrow department by assisting with customer service and administrative duties related to escrow closings
May provide general support for a team, or partner with an escrow officer
Primarily focused on residential transactions
Assist with opening orders, entering transaction data, and preparing standard documents
Support closing activities, including disbursements and follow-up tasks
Gather and organize information from clients and internal teams
Maintain accurate records and ensure required documentation is complete
Communicate basic requirements and updates to clients under guidance
Qualification
Required
HS Diploma or Equivalent
Detail-oriented
Organized
Customer-focused
Eager to learn escrow procedures
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Customer service skills
Problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills
Knowledge of MS Office suite
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Able to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all times
Strong detail orientation
Knowledge of company and/or client operating systems
Preferred
1–2 years of administrative or escrow-related experience
Bachelor's Degree
