2+ years expXero Solar is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee solar PV and energy storage projects, with a strong emphasis on new construction homes. This role is responsible for managing projects from sales handoff through closeout, coordinating across internal teams, customers, contractors, utilities, and AHJs to deliver high-quality systems on schedule and on budget.

Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of residential solar PV and energy storage projects from sales handoff through project completion
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Installation
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
Support Business Development and Engineering with system design input and value engineering
Plan and manage project schedules, procurement, budgets, invoicing, and documentation
Maintain strong working relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal teams
Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks
Coordinate with local utilities and city inspectors for compliance and timely processing of all projects
Oversee escalated project issues with the support of the Construction Manager and Superintendent
Uphold a high standard of professionalism, urgency, accountability, and integrity across all projects
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in construction or project management
Comfortable working on and visiting active construction sites
Strong communication skills with the ability to manage clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to take ownership, embrace challenges, and continuously improve processes
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills
Comfortable using CRM and project management software
Strong written and verbal skills, including handling challenging conversations professionally
Preferred
residential construction experience strongly preferred
