Master Electrician (MRPT)

The Master Electrician (MRPT) is responsible for overseeing electrical installations, maintenance, and repair activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and federal regulations.

Responsibilities
Plan, supervise, and execute complex electrical installations, maintenance, and repair operations
Lead and manage teams of electricians and apprentices, ensuring proper training and task execution
Serve as the technical authority for electrical systems and infrastructure
Ensure full compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA standards, federal regulations, and DOS requirements
Manage electrical projects from initial planning through final completion and inspection
Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
Conduct inspections and quality assurance reviews to ensure work meets contractual and regulatory standards
Identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical system issues in a timely and safe manner
Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe and compliant work environment
Prepare and maintain required documentation, reports, and records
Qualification
Required
Active MRPT Clearance (required)
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Master Electrician License
Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Master Electrician or in a senior electrical leadership role
Demonstrated experience supervising electrical personnel on commercial, industrial, or government facilities
Strong working knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a secure, regulated environment
Preferred
Experience supporting U.S. government or Department of State (DOS) contracts
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
