Responsibilities

Perform routine operations and maintenance of network operating systems
Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot wired and wireless network infrastructure
Support network communications and resolve connectivity and performance issues
Assist with implementation of network security practices and compliance standards
Maintain Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs) and network configurations
Monitor network systems and provide supporting and monitoring services
Document network changes, procedures, and troubleshooting efforts
Escalate non-routine or complex issues to senior network engineering staff

Required

Associate's Degree and two (2) years of related work experience OR
Bachelor's Degree one (1) year of related work experience OR
Master's Degree and no experience necessary
Related Experience: Network operations and/or system administration or related experience

Preferred

CompTIA Network+
Experience supporting wired and wireless networks in an enterprise environment
Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and network monitoring tools
