Mid, Senior LevelThe State of Utah is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join its Division of Technology Services. This role involves leading agile project teams, managing project delivery, and ensuring that IT solutions meet business needs while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities
Manage and lead multiple agile projects, ensuring each project meets its goals and objectives on time and within budget
Utilize Jira for all project tracking, management and reporting to the DTS Project Management Office and stakeholders
Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
Maintain and build project documentation
Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules
Plan and organize our Program Increment Planning Sessions every quarter
Coordinate resources, both internal and third-party vendors, for the flawless execution of projects
Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Coach and mentor team members on Agile practices and principles
Identify and resolve issues and risks that may impact project delivery
Foster a collaborative and productive team environment
Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies
Qualification
Required
Proven experience managing IT projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Strong experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience with Agile scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS)
Experience in a leadership role within an Agile transformation initiative
