Payment Processor (QC Team)

Responsibilities

Update drafts per clients' requests
Research client files to identify transactional issues with payments and performance fees
Process requests from third parties related to clearing, pending, cancelling, and modifying creditor settlement payments
Contact creditors if the account is sold to another collection agency and attempt to reestablish the previous agreement
Process scheduled payments of negotiated settlements as well as audit for accuracy
Send refund or referral of fees requests to the accounting department
Other duties as required to support department operations

Qualification

Financial industry experienceMicrosoft Office proficiencyProblem-solving skillsCommunication skillsSharePoint proficiencyWindows OS proficiencyCRM proficiencyBilingual (Spanish)Detail orientedCritical thinking skills

Required

High School Degree or GED

Preferred

1-2 years' experience in a financial industry (collections, payment processing, mortgages, claims reconciliation)
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
