The inspector will ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards, conduct inspections, and maintain documentation related to quality assurance.

Responsibilities
Perform visual, mechanical, or electrical inspections on parts, components, and assemblies
Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
Administer quality check by connecting electronic assemblies, components, or parts to appropriate test instrument
Verify dimensions of parts, using standard gauges
Perform inspections at all stages of the assembly process, at component receipt, in-process, and final inspection
Train other employees in the use of testing equipment
Assist in cleaning up or completing any production or quality documentation
Record and log inspection data
Assist with documentation control within the Quality department
Close and file job/traveler packets
Write Non-conformance reports and quarantine defective product
Sign and complete Certificate of Conformance reports
Adhere to all safety regulations
Identify and report any safety concerns
Maintain a clean work environment by cleaning workstation and plant areas as assigned
Performs other job duties and/or projects to meet business needs
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent experience in a related field
1 Year experience with quality inspection in electronics industry
Preferred
1 Year experience with manufacturing wire and cable harnesses
IPC 610 Certification
