Risk Analyst
Henrico Doctors' Hospital is the nation's largest private employer of Registered Nurses, committed to high-quality care. The Risk Analyst will assist with risk identification, investigation, and reduction, while maintaining risk management statistics and providing education to hospital staff.

Responsibilities
Work with the Director and legal counsel to coordinate the investigation, processing, and defense of claims against the facility
Respond to professional liability, general liability, and risk management questions from physicians and staff
Maintain awareness of legislative and regulatory activities related to healthcare risk management
Provide education and training to all levels of hospital staff regarding risk management and risk reduction
Manage the occurrence reporting system and provides aggregate data to managers and directors
Receive and investigates reports of product occurrences and reports, as appropriate, to the FDA Medwatch Program
Responsible for facilitating Root Cause Analysis and Proactive Risk Assessments as appropriate
Qualification
Required
Leadership, communication, interpersonal skills and understanding of risk management theory and process is required
RN license or 4 year degree in Health Care Administration or Risk Management required
Clinical background required
Must reside in Virginia or be willing to relocate
Preferred
1-3 years healthcare risk management experience preferred
Master's degree in a health related field preferred
