Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the financial services location, including interior common areas, offices, lobbies, and perimeter areas as assigned
Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations, and reporting observations per post orders
Complete detailed security-related reports and logs, including patrol activity, incidents, and maintenance concerns, and communicate updates during shift handoff
Qualification
Required
Have at least 6 months of security-related experience
Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
