Student Intern - Quality Assurance Developer

They are seeking a QA Developer Intern to assist the QA team by developing test automation and verifying functionality while gaining foundational skills in Java programming and Software Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities

Utilize Java and other technical skillsets to develop test automation
Run automation and do root cause analysis on failures
Run manual test scenarios to verify functionality
Troubleshoot and isolate issues, submit bugs, and work with developers
Collaborate with QA Engineers to assist on projects and tasks

Qualification

JavaObject Oriented ProgrammingAutomated TestingTroubleshootingCommunication Skills

Required

Enrolled in an IT Bachelor's degree program at an accredited college/university
Java required. Proven ability to code; completed coding projects
Strong Object Oriented Programming required, experience preferred
Familiarity with basic computer concepts
Desire to work in a technical field
Curious, inquisitive and willing to learn
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be well organized and have the ability to work in a team environment
Ability to manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Able to complete routine tasks independently over time. This includes gaining the functional, technical and problem-solving skills needed to complete assignments

Preferred

A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred
Experience in Strong Object Oriented Programming preferred
