RF Engineer, Staff
Lockheed Martin is a global leader in aerospace, defense, and technology solutions. They are seeking a highly skilled RF Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy hardware systems, including antennas and software-defined radios, as part of a unique antenna system.

Responsibilities
Designing, developing, documenting, testing RF circuits and systems, including amplifiers, filters, and antennas
Performing hands-on testing and troubleshooting of RF systems using a range of equipment including Spectrum analyzers to measure and analyze RF signals, Signal generators to generate RF signals for testing, Oscilloscopes to measure and analyze RF waveforms, and Network analyzers to measure and analyze RF network parameters
Assisting in developing and implementing test procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with requirements and industry standards
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate RF systems with other components
Working with software-defined radio (SDR) systems and interfaces, including waveform development and testing
Troubleshooting and debugging RF system issues, using a range of tools and techniques
Qualification
Required
Active TS/SCI clearance
5 years of professional experience
BS degree
Designing, developing, documenting, testing RF circuits and systems, including amplifiers, filters, and antennas
Performing hands-on testing and troubleshooting of RF systems using a range of equipment including Spectrum analyzers, Signal generators, Oscilloscopes, and Network analyzers
Assisting in developing and implementing test procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with requirements and industry standards
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate RF systems with other components
Working with software-defined radio (SDR) systems and interfaces, including waveform development and testing
Troubleshooting and debugging RF system issues, using a range of tools and techniques
Preferred
Bachelor's or Master's degree (or higher) in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical discipline
Experience with RF/digital equipment test and measurement techniques
Experience with RF front-end design
Experience with Military Satellite Communications, ground-based systems
Experience with product lifecycle phases (SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR)
Experience with government COMSEC applications and integration of Crypto devices and communications systems
Experience leading and managing research or design projects
