Clinical Data & Analytic Specialist Lead

Responsibilities
Exercises good judgement and sound decision making in researching critical issues and generating innovative solutions for efficient workflow and deliverables execution
Leads as project manager with assigned project management activities including prioritizing, assigning, and reviewing deliverables for the team
Provides leadership for implementation of new and upgraded systems/releases or new/revised operational procedures
Trains other employees in the use of support systems and reporting tools
Identifies operational improvement opportunities and assists with implementing solutions
Enhances professional growth to remain current on market trends, emerging analytic solutions, and advances in informatics
Gathers highly complex system requirements by meeting with clients and researching existing technology to understand the business requirements and possible solutions for new applications
Provides work instruction, assists and supervises other analysts with complex assignments
Demonstrates expert knowledge of data models supported and information delivery methods and techniques
Exhibits the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, vendors and organizational administration
Supervises the use of a flexible, analytical approach to extract optimal value from biomedical data
Oversees and contributes to the design of continuous validation plans for production systems that incorporate models and algorithms, providing guidelines and support for large-scale implementation
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in Informatics, Business, Engineering, or related field required
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Electronic Health Record systems analysis, workflow process analysis, data warehouse support analytics, and/or application systems with record of tangible accomplishment in applying these skills in the health care environment
Computer skills including proficient knowledge of full Microsoft Office Suite
Strong project management skills
