Export Compliance Coordinator

Responsibilities

Prepare and review export licensing submissions to the U.S. Department of Commerce and U.S. State Department using SNAP-R and DECCS interfaces as needed
Maintain accurate electronic records and decrement licenses as necessary
Work closely with all departments to ensure all aspects of export compliance are maintained
Handle all requests and audits from the Commerce and State Department
Attend ongoing training to keep up on regulatory and legislative changes applicable to the industry
Review commercial invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with export regulations
Annual review of products and associated Schedule B and HTS codes/classifications

Required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Thorough understanding of company products and logistics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or related software
Experience with license submissions using SNAP-R and DECCS
Experience with EEI and AES filings
Experience utilizing common carrier (UPS, FedEx, etc.) shipping interfaces
Experience utilizing and coordinating freight forwarders and providing accurate SLI's
Minimum of three years of experience
Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification and reference checks
Ability to work in a lab environment, including operating testing equipment and assembling prototypes
Comfortable working in an office or remote setting, with strong communication skills for virtual collaboration
Overtime required
With or without reasonable accommodations, requires the physical and mental capacity to perform effectively all essential functions
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field is preferred
